One of the loveliest days our family will ever have

A christening or naming ceremony is such a special milestone - everyone you love gathered together to celebrate your little one. It goes by in a flash! Between getting everyone dressed and out the door, keeping the baby happy, and trying to actually enjoy the day yourself, it can all feel like a bit of a blur afterwards. That's where I come in. I'll be there quietly in the background, making sure none of it gets lost.

From the church to the celebration party— I've got it all

I follow the whole day in my documentary style, no stiff lineups, no awkward posing, just real moments as they happen. The ceremony itself, the family portraits outside the church, and then the gathering afterwards - the chat, the food, the cousins running riot, grandparents holding the baby for the first time. All of it.

These are honestly some of my favourite events to photograph. There's always so much love, so much laughter, and so many little moments happening all at once. My job is to make sure you actually get to see them all afterwards!

Things people usually ask me

Will you photograph inside the church?

Yes - However It's always good to check in advance about the church's photography policy as some have restrictions during the ceremony itself. Where photography is permitted I'll capture everything as discreetly as possible. I'm very used to working quietly in ceremony settings!

Do we need to do formal posed group photos?

Not if you don't want to! My style is mostly candid and relaxed. That said, most families do like a few group shots outside the church or at the alter. I'll guide everyone gently and keep it quick, I promise. No lining up 40 people in the rain for half an hour!

What if the baby is unsettled on the day?

Honestly - it happens and it's completely fine! A grumpy baby or a toddler meltdown is all part of the story. Some of the best moments I've ever captured have come from the chaotic bits. I just roll with it and keep shooting!

Can you travel to our venue or home?

Absolutely. I'm based in Co. Meath and cover the wider Meath and Dublin area as standard. If you're a little further afield just get in touch and we can chat about travel - I'm happy to travel for the right occasion!
